About the Foundation

Advancing Indigenous futures through global cooperation.

Trifocal Global Foundation is a Canadian not-for-profit organization dedicated to advancing Indigenous community well-being. We bring an international perspective to this work through relationships across Canada and China.

Our vision

We envision Indigenous communities shaping their own development, young people growing up with a strong sense of identity and opportunity, and prosperity that strengthens community life across generations.

Our mission

Our mission is to advance this future through education, cultural collaboration, economic development and community support. We connect Indigenous priorities with knowledge, relationships and resources in Canada, China and beyond.

Rooted in Canada. Connected to the world.

As a Canadian foundation, we connect the priorities close to home with opportunities beyond our borders. Our roots in Canada-China exchange provide a foundation for a wider public purpose, with Indigenous knowledge and leadership central to the relationships we build.

International cooperation takes on meaning through what it makes possible for people: an educational pathway, a stronger local enterprise, deeper cultural understanding, or a community initiative with the support to endure.

We work towards partnerships in which Indigenous communities help define these opportunities, shape their development and share in their long-term value.

From a shared vision to lasting community benefit.

Strong communities grow through the connections between a safe home, education, meaningful work and cultural belonging. We approach these priorities together, guided by the people whose futures they will shape.

Our priorities span Indigenous community housing, youth development, trade missions, educational exchange, professional dialogue and cultural collaboration. We are developing initiatives across these areas as connected pathways to community well-being and economic participation.

We seek partnerships that build local capacity, respect cultural knowledge and sustain the support needed for long-term development. Our ambition is for the value created today to become a foundation the next generation can build upon.
